Candace A. Rhodes

Candace Alyssa Rhodes (she/her) is an accomplished singer, actor, and storyteller from Gainesville, Florida. She graduated from Elon University majoring in Music Theatre and minoring in Public Health Studies. Currently, Candace is performing with the incredible cast of COME FROM AWAY as Hannah and Others.

 

Candace is a classically trained musician with perfect pitch who is highly proficient at arranging vocal music. Her musical strengths include opera, jazz, and show tunes.  She looks forward to not only being a consistent performer at various regional and Broadway theaters, but also plans to use her skills to become a music director for a Broadway company. 

 

Candace acquired her love of music at a tender age singing in church, but her love for theater started when she was an ensemble member for her high school’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Through her gift of music she plans to change the world, but in her free time you will likely find her with family and close friends, arranging songs, coloring, or playing Sudoku.
